I don't know if this qualifies at embarrassing but I respected the hustle.
Shyla Cooper when she was playing at Georgetown (she later transferred to tOSU) had her shoe come off. That did not stop her from taking the shoe and flinging at the ball to block a shot. BTW There is Natalie Butler doing work in the paint for Georgetown.
