Elite 8 : 3-26

Why on earth does anyone want to see an AAC team, the conference we just left, beat a BE team, the conference we moved into, to get in to the Final Four? That's just stupid.
Football :p

Off topic a bit but I can't believe that the ACC has 3 teams in Elite Eight after what they did in the regular season. So since I have no horse in the race, I'd like to see wins for Saint Peter's, Arkansas, Kansas and Nova. I don't have as much hate for Kansas as others but would take Kansas over Miami.

As much as I like Carlton, I prefer Nova over Houston since they are in the Big East. Nova could then lose before winning a NC.

I’m over it…maybe the because the new Big East just ain’t the old one.

Not easilly but they won... Coogs 1 for 20 from 3....hard to believe... Sadly Josh reverted to his UConn self
Wonder what percentage of the ppl who were saying we could’ve used Cartlon this year have this take after actually watching him play for the first time this year tonight

It's obviously after the fact, but I absolutely would've rather seen Houston get into the FF than Nova. I care and worry way more about Nova getting closer to tying us for NCs than I do about conference ramifications of an AAC team beating a BE team.

I used to root conference in the OBE. After I saw where that got us I only root for one, the rest can get monkey stomped.

Nova getting 4 NCs doesn't bother me. If they do, they and Jay Wright will have deserved it, like they have their previous ones.

100% they have deserved them. I don't hate Nova and I like Jay Wright a lot, but them winning a 4th knocks us further down the totem pole of all time great programs. Their success wouldn't bother me as much if we were still competing for national titles along side them, but that's obviously not the case. They're making insane progress building up their pedigree as an elite program, while we've been irrelevant for 8 years.

Understood, but in this P5/P6 environment, it's more important for UConn for the BE to remain a heavyweight in college basketball. I might feel a little different if they were going for their 5th, but I support any sucess by BE teams in the tournament, as disappointed as I may be that we aren't in it anymore.

If Villanova without Moore and Longino can beat Kansas, and then beat Duke or NC, they deserve their victory. I wouldn't begrudge them.

The better the League's rep, the better the recruits we can hopefully get.
