Yea, that's why I created this thread. UConn football currently does not spark joy. Slightly altering Edsall Motivational Tweets just might bridge me to actual football.

I think there are 75 kids on scholarship right now after factoring in the fall departures, which is 10 under the max.

The "death" part of that tweet is ominous sounding. There's been little to make you think about happiness, more on the order of the program being put to sleep before 2021

In the world of social media you have to remain skeptical and prepared for sarcasm. Time to put up your antenna. In this case, the original poster did note in the title of the thread "slightly altered."

Any idea who the players are that left in the fall?

We haven't learned of any new departures after their fall camp ended last week.

Since summer the program has lost:

• Keyshawn Paul CB - transferred out - no new school announced yet
• Robert King III S - transferring out at the end of the semester. I believe King has graduated and will look to do a grad year someplace else.
• Jonathan Senecal QB - transferred to University of Montreal (hometown area).
• Luke Magliozzi P - transferred out - no new school announced yet
