Only for 15 minutes. It would be great if you could come back to edit it later than that.

Just curious Tom, what is the benefit to site in limiting the time to edit? Is it a resource issue? Just wondering.

I only know a couple sites that allow unlimited time to edit a post. It make it too difficult to follow a thread if people are editing their posts, and it makes moderation very difficult.

15 minutes is more than enough time to correct spelling, etc.
