Totally coincidental, we were in Paris on the last day of the Tour and it was maybe Armstrong’s third, before his cheating was known. It was actually a pain because for several hours before the cyclists arrived the main streets were barricaded, no exceptions and long detours needed to get across the River. We were maybe 3 deep when Armstrong went by. It was actually hard to see him because of people in the way.
