Wow - they are on FIRE. Otherwise they'd be getting killed. And they likely will ... eventually.

SMU's interior passing is incredible. I have to believe that's mostly thanks to Brown, because Kennedy didn't show a real aptitude for that at Villanova.

I do not understand why every tournament has the 1 seed play a noon game, they always come out flat and struggle with the team playing the day before.

Blindly bet the dogs in these, Lasalle, ECU, Mich all covering

I don't think ECU will be bad next year. Whisnant, White, and Tyson can all ball and all 3 return next year.

Tyson, in particular, is only a freshman and averaged 12+ PTS and 3+ REB while shooting 45.8%. Impressive kid.

So where were all these kids ranked? I'm sure they were no where near the top 150.

I think ECU's success is solely my doing. I wished Coach Lebo good luck when I ran into him in the lobby of the Hilton.

Tyson was a 2 star recruit. Can't find who else offered him.

Whisnant: "Whisnant finished his Junior season at 6'3, 175 lbs. He is ranked 78 in the ESPN100, with a position ranking of 26. He is ranked 105 nationwide on Rivals (position ranking of 30). Prior to his commitment, he was heavily recruited by Wake Forest, North Carolina, Charlotte, Auburn, and South Carolina." He originally committed to FSU then transferred.

Caleb White was a 3 star recruit out of Virginia. He has offers from Richmond and Virginia Tech.

Some people just fall through the cracks and overachieve in comparison to what people see in them during the recruitment period. Good for Tyson though, great freshman year for someone completely slept on.
