"Easy Path"

Two teams I really didn't want to play again:

Creighton - We got helped by a weirdly officiated Final 8 game
Xavier - I think this was the best offensive team in the country when they had their 5 starters. Freemantle's injury ended them as a threat.

Everyone trying to discredit us seconds after the win. We literally beat Bama. I genuinely think even if it had been a harder game the result would have been the same given a rematch.

Get over it, pundits. We won.
The whole easy thing is a coping mechanism. They mad no one beat us so they could gloat so after we win it all they try to discredit and downplay the championship. Saw it in `11 and `14. 5 National Champions is all that matters.

Yeah that’s exactly why the comitee put Duke in the East instead of us. I liked it what’s tougher makes us stronger.

Haters. we did better than kansas that last year that beat an 8 seed by 3.

The NCAA Tournament is configured to have the highest seeded teams advance. But none of them could do that. So the teams that did advance beat those higher seeded teams. Which means they were better. You can only beat the teams that advance with you.

We played who was in front of us and are the only team to win every game by 13+. That speaks for itself.

I seldom if ever go on other teams message boards. Decided to take a quick tour after the Miami game and now this one. Just curious of the various perceptions. No posting, just reading. Went to Syracuse, Providence, Duke, Kentucky. BY FAR, the most complimentary fanbase is Kentucky on Rupp Rafters. The other 3, not that I care much, are mostly haters minus a few exceptions.

The tournament exposes conferences more than it does teams. Purdue for instance was a product of its conference.

Dauster is the one who asked the best question when people say the path was easy: "What team did you need them to play to convince yourself they were legit?"

No answer. If you say Alabaa, UConn played them. Houston was a shell of itself at the end. Kansas maybe is the only team that would have been interesting. Too bad Kansas lost to a team UConn annihilated.
