Durand $cott suspended

Miami guard and former UConn target, Durand $cott has been suspended for tonight's game vs FSU for impermissible benefits. Many speculated that his choice of Miami was "fishy" and hinted at there being $$ thrown around.

Perhaps I am jumping to conclusions but the chickens could be coming home to roost...

The NCAA will probably say that Scott talked with UConn recruiters earlier on and they were a bad influence and therefore we should have to pay damages to the Scott family and sit out the 2014 tournament.

I'm sure this latest bit involves some benefit derived from the Frank Haith Pez Dispenser o' Impermissible Benefits while he was at Miami, but as stated at length here during the Scott recruitment...he was bought and paid for long, long before he committed.

Scott was never directly implicated in that Miami mess a few months back but I believe there were pictures of his coach at Rice down in MIA hanging out with the sheisty little guy.

Ha ha got to give Haith his due on one thing though he knew when to get out of Dodge. He might just be one of those guys you've worked with that knows when to ride the horse out of town just when the posse is closing in on him.

Missouri folk who hated the hiring of Haith last summer now love the guy. He might just be coach of the year when all is said and done.
