- As of now, Duke has to hope Alexis Jones recovers well from her injury. Otherwise, their backcourt consists of Ka'lia Johnson (good rebounder, but not the best ball handler), Jenna Frush (walk-on who averages less than 2 min per game) Greenwell (who is really a wing, but can play shooting guard), and possibly Sierra Calhoun could play some guard. In any event, I would suppose that they are going to face backcourt pressure in every game they play next year. How they handle this, and if any of the above players can learn to run the point, will go a long way to determining their season. If they get consistent help there, they should be fine as the rest of the team is talented If none of those players can handle the pressure, they could struggle to hold onto 3rd place in the ACC (behind ND, NC) as Syracuse and GT should both be improved. Would like to hear others opinions on this, especially tridukefan.
