OT: Duke Knueppel to enter NBA Draft

Kager, Kinston, Kash, and Kid Knueppel still undecided

Duke losing both him and Flagg is pretty damaging to them.

.-.
Could care less. Hopefully next year I don’t have to hear about them every single day.
Unless they have another Flagg you won’t he’s a special talent.

Everytime I heard his name pronounced in telecasts I had a Beavis & Butthead moment.
My most memorable moment of him was when someone, maybe an announcer during the tourney or someone here pointed out that his name is pronounced Kuh-Nipple. I think one announcer was even saying K-Nipple.

Anyway….F Duke

Kid played better defense than most high level freshmen and wasn't afraid to mix it up in the paint for rebounds.
Glad he is leaving.

Imagine having hi name growing up.. he deserves every penny he gets. Guaranteed, there was a few “Hey, nipple. Here comes a twister”

Big year for Schyer (or however you spell that name). If you can't win with Flagg......
It isn't quite a Rick Barnes losing in the 2nd round with Kevin Durant level fiasco, but given that its Dook there is title pressure and a developing stigma of losing big games (that Kryckchsky set on the way out by losing to UNC in home finale and again in FF in his last season!).

They will likely be quite good this year. Boozer is not as good of a prospect as Flagg but he might be a better college player (depends on how much of a blackhole he is). The rest depends on who stays for them. Proctor/Evans especially.

The kid was probably 6-4 in eighth grade and the best athlete around. I'm sure he was fine.

And from the look of it he does have the strength, foot speed, etc. That's unlike a certain UConn player who IS NOT ready for the NBA at this point.

I know every fan base has these kinds of fans in abundance but it always makes me laugh when our fans are so much more negative toward UConn guys than people outside the program.

Boozer might also be a #1 pick but he's unlikely to beat Flagg's versatility & average 19 pts, 8 boards, 4 assists and 1.5 blocks.

Moreso than Boozer > Flagg, they need the 2026 ACC > 2025 ACC to harden the team so less prone to choke when NCAA pressure builds.

Agreed but Boozer may be a better scorer. As big a loss will be Malachi.
