Good chance for us to take a look at what we will be facing and root for the upset. Gilbert for Fairfield is a stud.

Probably won't be the case, but I'd love if Okafor was just soft as dog .

Not that I care, but that change from a 3 to a 2 is the most blatantly inaccurate change in call I have ever seen. Like, not even close.

I think Brimah can get a lot of blocks against Okafor. He doesn't get much lift on his shot or his hook. Its blockable. Winslow is going to be a tough matchup for D-Ham, even tough D-Ham is longer, Winslow is very physical and has an NBA body.

Duke isn't very long inside... theyre tall, but we're much longer.

Okafor's wingspan is 7-foot-5, Jefferson's is 7-foot and Winslow's is 6-foot-10.

Brimah's has been reported as 7-foot-6, Facey's is 7-foot-1 and Hamilton's is 6-foot-8.

DraftExpress has all the numbers.

If Okafor establishes low block position we'll be hard pressed to keep him quiet. Especially because he seems to be a freaking brilliant passer out of double-teams.

Watched Winslow last night - kid is a talent and a half. K could have a nice team this year but long way to go.

As far as the match up with Duke, I'd love to have Nolan playing better to be able to guard Okafor and keep AB out of foul trouble. Jefferson is tough down low too so our Huskies will have some work to do.

If our guards can pressure their guards and create some havoc they wont be able to get the ball to okafor when he gets position and itll take him out of the game. Add to that Brimah with no foul trouble and we could handle him

I'm hoping Phil can pick up a few charges against okafor. Expose his freshman mistakes.

I'd like to be wrong, but Brimah will pickup fouls. He needs to eliminate the fouls 15+ feet from the basket.

Is this becoming a thing? Why do we hate that Phil takes charges?
Cause they often fail and result in fouls on him. Be a man and contest a shot once in awhile Nolan c'mon.

I say it takes a man to stand there and take a charge. He is not nor is he ever going to be a great shot blocker. He's not quick or explosive enough. The charge in most instances is the better option.

He better do it against Duke. Give them a taste of their own medicine. Although, I'm afraid the calls will go their way on both ends of the court.

The problem I have isn't that Phil tries to take charges. It's that he does it every single time, even against low-major guards, when just maintaining his verticality would be enough of a deterrent.

I'm probably one of the biggest Phil fans on here, but I think charge-taking is one of those selective skills that is better in moderation. Unless you time it perfectly, the call is usually (or should) go against you.

I don't think intentionally falling over makes you look like a man. And you can contest a shot without blocking it.

I don't want to stoop to their level and yea you know they'll be called blocks no matter what
