I was a the game tonight and went down with a few buddies. My friend is a big Arizona fan so of course I went wearing all my uconn gear. Arizona fans were very nice and respected the uconn love. Duke fans were typical sore losers who told me to " off". I processed to tell a duke fan "who did duke lose to in 99 and 04?" He was speechless and the Arizona fans around him were cracking up. I hate duke and that is all I have to share.

On another note, duke has no bigs. When we say we have no bigs, we should count our blessings. Duke has literally nobody down low.i don't see them doing anything in march other than losing to Lehigh in the round of 64

Arizona's style of basketball is very similar to ours. Run run run! Fun to watch. Duke is slow and has average defense.

Kinda like zona, love that brandon ashley - gordan combo. Guard play average, but I see their rim protection and athleticism taking them far.

Very athletic team. Would love to see us match up with them in early April.

My friend tried telling me that TJ McConnel could contain Shabazz and all I did was laugh. But I respect the challenge and gotta give props to the wildcats

In line with your comment, did you notice the typical Krapascrewdookski behavior at the end of the game. He couldn't get past Sean Miller fast enough. You would have thought Miller just crawled out from under a rug instead of being a solid young coach who had great success as a player, as a coach at Xavier and now restoring 'Zona to top level performance every season. I remember in '99 when the cameras focused on Krapascrewdookski's wife and daughter crying in the stands how little sympathy could be found among Husky fans because this guy, despite his success in the game, when he knows he is going to lose, is a relentless ref baiter; and in the end, a classless, sore loser.

If we are going to hold him up as the epitome of what college basketball is about, shame on us all. My dislike for this guy might be even stronger today than it was in '99. I am REALLY happy that 'Zona kicked his tonight; and I hope that it is one of many losses that he will suffer in the ACC this year. Besides Parker, they are just not a very good basketball team imo. Good riddance Mikey!!! :p

Duke is also in desperate need of a Point Guard. They're a very flawed team this year.

It is always a good night when Dook loses. Dookie V's excuses make it all the sweeter.

I do agree that Coach Ksuckchefski is classless, sore loser.

I feel like every UConn fan should always have a printout of this in their pocket in the event they run into a misinformed or memory-challenged Duke fan:

Hey, at least Coach K wanted us in the ACC. Too bad we can't kick his rear end more often for the time being.

Arizona is one team I do NOT want to see on our side of the bracket come March. They would be a nightmare match-up - they have stingy, athletic guards on the perimeter (McConnell is basically Aaron Craft without the publicist) who would make our guards work very hard for their points. And of course, they go at least three deep on the interior with skilled, athletic big men on the north side of 6'9. Sean Miller is a damn good coach, too. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see this Arizona team win the whole thing, and if it can't be UConn, they are as good a choice as any IMO. Likable team and program.

Eh. He was very gracious to JC in 1999. Perhaps because he liked and respected him?

Not sold on Miller....good guy, great recruiter (being in AZ helps? even Olson was) but they play out of control quite often.....Nick Johnson hardly a true PG nor is McConnell, Ashley is wither good or awful. thinks he's a PG sometimes and Miller allows it.....big due can't spell his name is a war ship and Gordon is not everthing he was hyped about either, but real solid overall. They're big and we would lose on the boards but they don't shoot it great and have lots of guys with ego's......chemistry is questionable and quite honestly would rather play them than Florida......they can look spectacular for 10 minutes then crap it all away with stupid selfish basketball....almost typical Arizona! Have to see a lot more but for now an early exit in the dance is looming for them and Duke!

Is there any team besides UConn that you think is even decent?

I was impressed by Arizona. They're not flawless, but it's November. They have a ton of length and plenty of scoring. I was watching one of their nondescript role players when I realized it was Gabe York, who I coveted in high school. Lot of talent on that team. Nick Johnson is one of those guys that looks better on paper or youtube highlights but he seems much improved this year. McConnell is definitely a point guard. Not sure what else you'd call him. They're a handful.

Well, they will have 2 home games in the tournament, so Sweet 16 is a possibility.

Johnson has benefitted from not playing PG for long stretches. He has embraced that he isn't a PG. Arizona is a good team, they still have defensive issues but they are dripping with talent. I'm not a huge fan of McConnell but he's better than a lot of PGs on top teams.

It's a small sample to judge a coach on, but I've always had a lessened opinion of Sean Miller since the elite eight game a few years ago. I know Derrick Williams was in some foul trouble, but it baffles me that they didn't go to him every possession down the stretch. We couldn't stop the guy.

Did I say they weren't "decent"?? I don't know if you can read but I'm just doubting their Top 5 ranking........I'm glad you were impressed crack but if you were impressed with Arizona vs Drexel the night before then you are blind! 2 different nights and I guess 2 different teams. Which is much like our Huskies by the way who for now aren't better than them.....not sure if I said they were maybe you can point that out for me seeing you're so on top of it!!

All the top teams are works in progress. Some becuase their best players are freshmen and sophomores, and some because they have a glaring deficiency that they can only sometimes cover. Some, both (like Duke and UK without good PGs). It could make for a wide open NCAA.

Can you name five better teams at this point? I'd say the three teams that have impressed me the most so far have been Arizona, Oklahoma State, and Michigan State.

Probably not but I can name 12 teams that look as good..........maybe more. There isn't a clear Top 5 as we speak from what I saw..........think that changes weekly for now!!

I get that your schtick is just to insult people who disagree with you, but let's hear the 12 teams.

Incidentally, they beat Drexel. UConn has played down to just about every team they've played this year but yet when other teams do it (once) then someone is "blind" if they think they're good.

Come up with a new rap.
