I know the Mercury have secured a play off berth, but DT's penchant for technical fouls has to get reined in if at all possible. Some time ago it was suggested that it was her personal campaign or statement against the inconsistent/dreadful refing. In the play offs she is going to have to grin and bear it. If regular season rules continue into the playoffs, as I read an ESPN report, a second technical will draw a one game suspension. Enough already Dee!

PS. Like Eric said: you are the greatest in the world and don't need this stuff!

I agree she needs to calm down, the playoffs are too short.

I doubt her reasoning is so "high minded", I haven't noticed that she limits her fits to questionable calls.

Keeps things interesting.

Once a player receives 7 techinicals, it results in a 1 game suspension. then for every 2 received after that, it's another 1 game suspension (at least that's what i read in the article discussing her latest suspension). I think even most UCONN fans are disappointed at the very least in her amalgamation of techinicals, but like everyone else, I wish she's reign it in. She's too talented for that type of behavior, and if the refs suck that much, I'm sure all the other players in the league are frustrated as well. However, we don't see them getting multiple suspensions for techincals. Time to knock it off, Dee. And this is coming from a UCONN fan who thinks you are hands down the best player in the world.

The call that got her the last technical had nothing to do with needing to calm down. She got called for flopping while trying to draw an offensive foul. So she got suspended for the next game for trying to take a charge. Go figure.

She got called for the flop or complaining that it wasn't called a charge?

I think it might have been for flopping - I saw the official definition was "flailing" whatever that means.

But that doesn't change the premise, unless (we can but hope) that she has already calmed down. Unfortunately, I can't make any playoff games, but go Merc and go DT. (will be at tomorrows penultimate regular season game).
