I love the kid and he is a physical freak but his play is so incredibly frustrating. The coaches need to send the message that if he throws up these awful fall away shots he's coming out of the game, this has now happened in several games where we are making a run and these horrible shots by Andre just kill momentum. They need to instill in him that he is a beast and not a shooting guard, if he doesn't get the message he has to sit.

I agree, it seems like he has gotten kid glove treatment all year and he has not shown much of a learning curve in decision-making during games. He is a great kid, but he needs some serious coaching about making solid plays and either trying to dunk, or pass the ball out.

He is no where near NBA ready and would do well for himself if he stayed at UConn for a couple of more seasons.

He really should only shoot Dunks/layups. Maybe allow one hook a game from close range. I dont know why we allow him to shoot jumpers.
