I can't wait for Aerial Powers to return. She is a beast. Until she does let's enjoy

I like Aerial Powers .
Chong 4 minutes a -9 point differential for the game. It happens.
These smaller capacity arenas like the Wings have in Arlington TX are much better for the WNBA. Hard on the ego maybe but a more exciting atmosphere for players and fans

I am sad to say that Chong's minutes may become less and less as players come off injury.

For a high-flying player, Aerial certainly has the right spelling for her name.

Skylar and Alisha played 36 and 34 minutes, respectively. That's a lot!

Kaela Davis adds instant shots, though not necessarily instant points. The Wings play more under control when Saniya is in the game.

I think the Dallas coach has decided to go with a short bench for whatever reason. That's the way it has been the last couple of games. But things were often better when Saniya came in to the game. Hopefully she impressed enough people to stick in the W, if not with this team then another. It looks like she may not get more opportunity to impress any time soon.

MilfordH. I agree with you about Saniya's calming presence on the court. I'm looking ahead to next year and the year after. There are excellent experienced guards that are coming off the bench that can score(play good defense and run the offense). I am one of the biggest Chong fans around. I would like to see her really blossom in the league.

My critique of her is that there are too many nights with absolutely no appreciable stats (no pts, ast, stl etc). So next year when there are tons of options for backup guards - rookies and foreign players looking to enter the W.

Does 2-4pts 1reb 1st cut it? I don't know. I do know that the better her stats the easier it is to justify staying at Dallas or being on some other team's roster.

Aerial Powers was a #99 Hoopgurlz
D. Hamby from Wake Forest was a #93 or maybe higher. That is something making the WNBA and being ranked in the 90's HG. Courtney Williams wasn't in the top 100 HG's.

I think Tianna Hawkins was either unranked or 90-100 as well.

Not only making the WNBA.... but being very high first round picks as well. Powers and Hamby #5, Hawkins #6, and Williams #8. Cheyenne Parker was another one who fits that bill. I doubt she was a top 250 player out of high school.

Dallas has some good players. I think they can be one of the top five teams. A tough out in playoffs.

If Gray didn't step up SC. Would not have won a National title. She was a key player. She is also on this Dallas team. I think she is ROY.

Unless something really changes, she's a lock for ROY.

Atlanta made Sykes a starter, and she's doing well. If she keeps pouring it on, she might have an outside shot, but it'll be hard to catch up to Gray at this point.
