Nice win by Seattle last night in what was a must-have game at home. Langhorn was incredible all game long; she went 9-9 from the field to offset an icy cold Jewell Loyd. They're still playing KML very limited minutes. After she went back to the bench in the third, Seattle went cold on distance shooting and it looked like they were going to drop another winnable game. But in the forth, it was Sami Whitcomb who once again went on a mini-run to provide the needed spark! Then a bad officiating call got Sue Bird all riled up, and with that chip on her shoulder she became an absolute terror on defense from that point on. Seattle got some stops, and wisely changed up their tactics to close it out. They ran out in transition after forcing turnovers, beating Atlanta at their own game. They also abandoned their perimeter shooting to feed Stewie and Alysha Clark in the low post several times for easy layups. It was a fantastic close from a team that has had real difficulty in that department, and I enjoyed the game immensely.
