Draft Night farewell to Kelly

Some time in the next hour or so, somebody other than UConn will claim the rights to have Kelly Faris playing basketball for them. Kelly, it's been an honor and a pleasure to watch you play. From the day you arrived, up right through the championship final over Louisville. You came to us already knowing things about basketball, and you worked so hard constantly getting better. I'll always remember a play where you defensively stifled both Ogwumike sisters on the same offensive set. This year, when it was a business necessity for both the team and your own future, there you were with a reliable jump shot. Thanks for it all Kelly and godspeed in the draft tonight.
