The team that the NBA owns gets the pick. No funny business at all.

Well well, will AD end up joining Kemba in Charlotte?

Edit Anthony Davis has put on some serious bulk. Torso looks a lot more filled and his arms are bigger. Yet, still, apparently, feels no need to do anything about his teeth and/or unibrow.

I believe Michael Strahan has not fixed that giant gap in his teeth for similar reason.

NBA is still the owner as of now, and a guy who was not interested at all until recently decided to buy it all of a sudden. and then they get a franchise player with the first pick. nothing funny at all.

I missed the actual live showing. I dunno why they can't just do the ball drawing in the open, in front of the camera. Those who have been given better percentage chance of gettng higher picks should just have more balls in the lottery. The way they do it obviously leaves some question, and they do it this way for no apparent reason.

Paul Pierce in the rafters commercial drives me nuts.

"I even helped raise one."

What are you chopped liver?

The ESPN script should have read: "I also helped raise one."

It will be interesting to see what the Hornets do now with the #10.

I would go after Jones or Jones III

They really need a PG, but I don't see any that are good enough in this draft for a #10.

If Charlotte passes on Thomas Robinson it will be a huge mistake, they really can't afford to take the chance on Drummond they need help immediately. With Jordan's past mistakes i wouldn't be suprised to see them take Drummond but Robinson has to be the #2 pick kid will make an immediate impact and has star potential. A Robinson/Kemba duo is a good start for Charlotte not as solid as Davis/Kemba but still solid.

right but the nba goes by potential, and drummond has so much more potential than robinson... i do agree robinson is a top 5 pick but you cant pass on drummond if you need a big

Robinson has great character and will be a solid player, but talent wise he is not a #2 pick.

If Char takes TRob 2nd MJ might as well sell the team on draft night.

Drummond to the Bobcats at 2 will be . . .

. . . bad for the Bobcats and,
. . . bad for Drummond.

Drummond will make the Bobcats worse, at least for a year or two. Maybe more - they need help now, not in a few years.

Bobcats should take Drummond only if they can immediately trade him.

First off would love to hear who you consider to be a better selection, only person i would push is Beal maybe MKG. Second, how are you some of missing how NBA ready this kid is. Great motor, best rebounder in the draft, very athletic, explosive at the rim, runs the floor extremely well, very solid on the block, and a developing jumper he's got a lot to bring to the table and once he fully develops his jumpshot and turnaround on the block Robinson will be an allstar talent.

Your 100% correct on the potential front, Drummond has the potential to be the best player in this draft. To me Robinson is the safer pick but if you want a potential homerun in this draft you take Drummond, personally i see him taking a while to develop and a team like Charlotte needs an immediate impact.

Yikes, so the next person you name is Beal? A 6'3" shooting guard who isn't an athletic/physical freak and shooting is supposed to be his specialty and he shot 34% from the college 3. I would take MKG or roll the dice on Drummond but I'd imagine MJ would probably be haunted by nightmares of Kwame Brown in his sleep. As for TRob being NBA ready, I have no doubt he'll play hard as hell because his motor is non-stop, but when he went up against an NBA sized frontline in the title game he looked quite amateur in the post and was getting swallowed up down there.

I would probably take MKG if I was Charlotte. MKG has more upside than Robinson and has already proven his competitive drive is top notch. Robinson is good, but he will be undersized at the 4 position in the NBA. I don't see his star potential. Solid player in the NBA is what I think. No way he is a better rebounder than Anthony Davis. Just because Robinson had a really good season in college, doesn't mean that will translate to the NBA.

Remember the Howard vs ok4 debate. Nba ready vs potential. Nba is all about potential. I'm not sure what the bcats will do with the pick but at this point to be honest I feel good that both ad and jl will go lottery based on size and potential.

If you have a chance to pick a UConn center number 2 in the draft, it is a path to having a future all star.

oh, wait.....
