any of you guys play draft kings?
i've been playing since week 1 of the nfl season.
around $600 ahead betting on nfl, college basketball, and the nba.
came close to winning 5k but kobe bryant hit 2 shots in the final 45 seconds to knock me outta 1st.
anyway, it's super fun. i was just curious how mnay of you guys play and how you are doing.
if you're doing good, maybe you can pm me some of your lineups lol.
i mainly stick to the 2$ bets and make multiple entries.
my boss at work won a grand, the 1st time he played the nfl 1.
beginners luck i guess.

https://www.draftkings.com/r/casinosun

if you haven't played and want to try.
there's the link.
for every 2 people who join through that.
i get a free entry.

not sure if this is against the rules of this board.
if it is, please feel free to delete it.

Thanks.

My friend plays on Fanduel. Won $4k a couple weeks ago but that's after he just missed out on $100k! He loves it.

Do you have to be an avid fan to do well?
I am a casual fan that knows conference leaders, check scores weekly (and forgets them) and know a few star players.

you can search on google and there are a few free websites that give you some hints and tips as to who to play.
there's a salary cap, so you have to manage your money wisely.
find low dollar players who play a lot of minutes and mix them with superstars.

As @WeAreUCONN also pointed out, it's basically a weekly auction draft with a salary cap. I haven't tried it yet myself but while I'm sure it helps to be an avid fan there are plenty of resources out there to help the average player out.

Because it has a salary cap, it really helps to be familiar with lesser known (aka cheaper) players to start who you know have match-ups that week that position them well for success.
