"What I came here for is gone," said Donovan, who also signed off on Gruda's trade to Los Angles after she again refused to play with Sun this season. "But I am hoping it works out for the best for everybody."

As viewed from afar, Donovan seems to have no suspicion that her approach and coaching style might have had anything to do with the Charles and Gruda not wanting to play for her. The Sun's management team seems to have no idea that the whole idea of locating a franchise in Ct. in the first place was to tap into the UConn fan base, which they seem determined to alienate. At least the Sun under the present regime prolly won't have to worry about losing in an early round of the playoffs, because they won't be there.

To be fair, Sandrine played one season for the Sun and didn't come back under Coach T either.
