Donovan Clingan & Stephon Castle Film Breakdown w/ Rich Stayman - The Box and One Podcast

Yea this was really good - they just gush over Donovan for a good 30 minutes to start. Spinella is great and seems to be a good evaluator - he has some valid criticisms of Castle and what he can work on to get himself up in the lottery. They both love Castle though and Rich has him in his top 5 college players this year.
 
That was VERY worthwhile high quality video. Much appreciated.

I think it’s because most of the “experts” haven’t seen him play. Here, he specifically states it’s because he actually saw him. Early reports from some of the players at PC are that he’s supremely talented and athletic. They also said he is a freshman. Which is what both are schools will be dealing with a bit in the beginning.

Yeah I def think Dual is super talented. Him and Castles draft stock will hinge on their jumpers and defense. Castle seems to have the D way more switchable then Dual due to his size but lets see how it shakes out come November and beyond

I guess Dual has as good of a chance as anyone to go in the first round

I don’t think that’s accurate.

Listen, just because I said your chances are as good as PC’s for Ngongba doesn’t mean I feel that way about most or any other recruits. It means, unequivocally that I believe that he is going to Kansas State. It’s an opinion, nothing more. I may be proven wrong like I have many times. I will take my lumps. If I’m right not a soul here will say a word though.

They are both freshman. That’s my wait and see take. I’m probably basing this on the fact that I think freshman are gross. It’s been a while since I’ve seen this level of a freshman at PC. Dunn was the last and he took some time.
