I don't see that...lowers in the corners are 50 to 250 points...a friend gave $5000 the last few years, and had donated thousands a year since DT was a freshman...she still hasn't gotten lower bowl seats. If someone can get 2 priority points and get lower bowl season tickets, I'd like to see how.
We are talking about season ticket seats anywhere in Sections 101-124 at the XL for WB? Not how low you can go in that section with your point total. You are probably right, no 2 point season ticket holders in the 100's sections. But a declining donor base and declining season ticket buyers can change that. The linked sites state that the corner sections (107,112 119,124) needed 100-288 points for those seats in 2009-10 and 50-250 points in 2010-11. Trend Downward. Who knows, there might be 2-49 point season ticket holder sitting in your friends section this year 2011-12). An intial ($50. membership) in the Uconn Club get you 2 points for joining. There's about 5000 donors, some being football only, some men's basketball only, some Gampel, some XL and some get tickets for everything. There's no way to know how many of those donors are XL women's basketball season ticket holders and what point category they're in. Of the 5000 donors , I'll bet almost all have been donors forever and have tons of points. It would be nice if the site broke down how many points each donor has. It doesn't, so I'm guessing there's not many in the 2-49 point category. The linked site doesn't earmark the seats behind the baskets in Sections 108,109,110, 111, 120,121,122 and 123, so there may be seats out there for a mere 2 points. Pure Speculation On My Part. Like I said previously, checking with the Uconn Club would be the way to go, and things change from year to year.
