Dom Amore: Joe Fagnano has taken his last snap for UConn football, now he’s aiming for the NFL

The more I think about it, the more I’m disappointed in Joe. The easiest thing he could have done is at least be there on the sideline. He couldn’t even do that. Disgraceful behavior. He is a coward and selfish.

I think that’s a little far but I agree it was really really weird he wouldn’t even show up and support the team

UConn couldn't win a freaking FBS game just a few years ago. RE2.0 had undersized players with little talent. Now we're bitching about NFL draft choices not playing a meaningless bowl game.
1000% in agreement... A few years ago, some fans thought we should drop Football. Jim Mora, didn't do a Randy Edsall 1.0. We knew Jim was leaving. DB got a - I believe - an up and coming coach. Looking forward for the Candle era of UConn football.

I wish Joe would have played against Army. In fact, I wish everyone was able to play would have played against Army. Like everyone here, I wanted to see UConn win, and I think if we were full strength with all of our top players, we had an excellent chance. That said, I appreciate all Joe Fagnano did for UConn football, and I wish him the very best in regard to the NFL draft and will definitely root for him wherever he may end up.

Maybe make the bowl games flag football contests. It would lower the possibility of contact injuries
I dunno. Once jammed a finger pulling a flag off the QB for the sack. It's never been the same. Definitely curtailed my bluegrass mandolin career.
