LIU was completely overmatched and UConn made it look like that. LIU wearing practice jerseys that were pulled out of a mesh bag.
Cling Kong was brutal. His hands on the offensive rebounds and when running the court was incredible. Superlatives and statements like "You couldn't be better in an empty gym" weren't hyperbole.
Hawkins was in sniper mode.
Good to see Alleyne get some shots go down towards the end. Just needs to see ball go through the hoop. Hopefully.
Karaban took almost 30 minutes before he missed a shot. Still don't like him using fouls trying to jump and block shots.
Joey makes his first shot almost every game. Another player opponents scout and you hope he's cold and then he bangs in his first shot and opponents are defeated.
Sanogo efficient on O and even passed out of double teams.
Everything was good.
Now comes the BE and this team is primed and ready.
