Pitt’s probably the favorite but they’re underdogs in their last 2 games, at Georgia Tech & against Miami. If they drop them both, they’d finish with 5 losses including their last 3. If so, would the voters give them the edge over a 3 loss UConn team?
Navy’s a candidate. They have 2 losses now but play at Memphis before finishing with the Army-Navy game. I think they’d probably get the nod over UConn if they finish with 3 losses mainly because they’re Navy. Still, voters could make as good a case for UConn. Plus, Navy could drop their last two.
First things first though - UConn’s got to win Saturday.
