There are 32 conference in Division 1 CBB.

Your AAC ranks for conference games:

Efficiency - 32
Tempo - 31 (UConn is 329th and last in the AAC)
Effective FG% - 32
2 pt FG% - 32
3 pt FG% - 28

As an added bonus there have been more blowouts of 19+ points than games going to OT or decided by 4 points or less.

The American clearly is a defensively slanted conference which is why the Efficiency number is dead last. Look at the offensive/defensive disparities (difference in AdjO and AdjD, + is where offense is higher, - is vice versa):

+99 Tulane
+78 Houston
+9 SMU
+4 Memphis
-51 Temple
-52 Cincinnati
-82 Tulsa
-140 USF
-181 UCF
-200 Connecticut
-279 ECU

Yeah yeah we know Cincy will get into the tournament and get bounced by a 9 seed. Don't you have a board to go to.

Yes, yes it is. Curious- where does the new BE rank here

9th in efficiency
12th in effective fg%
3rd in 2pt%

23rd in tempo
17th in 3 pt%

Fantastic point, and I think (this year aside) the way the league is officiated has been a huge part of UConn's problems winning in the regular season. Last year, Cinci and Temple (and to an extent Memphis) brutalized our guys, fouling them constantly without calls. This league calls too many ticky-tack fouls while letting defenders get away with way too much contact. It's a thug league. How many offensive fouls did we have last night? Seemed as many as SMU had defensive.

Yeah, the AAC is a conference of poor offense. We're a big part of that deficiency.

Or the AAC is so bad at offense it inflates defensive ratings.
