More to the point - Curt Miller???? Rueck is ok as a nominee (not a candidate for winning), obviously the three lead folks in the article: Geno, Muffet and Dawn Staley are the small field for the winner.

I think the Award should be Geno's to lose............If he runs the table to the 2014 NC , winning streak intact , with all the adversity of illnesses and injuries , short bench, etc.......it would be highway robbery to give the trophy to anyone else. Geno has done a Masterful job this year. No other coach in WCBB can say they have done better.

I would predict Staley will win on the grounds her team's success (#1 seed, regular season SEC title, etc) was so unexpected.

I think Mulkey should be a finalist for the performance of her team this year- 4 new starters and she/they pushed us to the edge- a lot more than anyone else has.
