OT: Does anyone own/use an Amazon Echo Show gen 2

I have a few questions... I might need to call a millennial for some help.

I got the tall Echo thingy... only use it for a speak for my ipad. I dont ask Alexa much. Its not going to turn on/off unless its bluetooth-ready. I think they are 3-5yrs away from being the norm

My wife and I use it for quick questions such as: weather, birth dates, cell phone calls, text messages, turn on tv, shut off tv, change channels, find something, directions from house and sometimes just silly crap, feeding horses, grocery reminders. Not bad for 76 years old.

Actually, I just plugged it in. You do have to go to an Amazon Echo page where you go check off the settings. And the rest of it is intuitive. What helps is we use the latest Amazon fire tv stick with the new processor. It ties right into that echo without any thing to do. That new controller from the fire stick sets itself up to manage my Sony Bravia TV and the Sony sound management system so I use only the firestick controller for all 3.

Going to the Amazon Echo settings page is the key. Oh by the way, I use the Netgear Arlo camera system. This is also mated to the Amazon Echo. And, if you give a command, your TV Display Screen becomes the viewer for the Arlo camera if you select that specific arlo camera to view. Heck, I got cameras in the barn, and outside the house and anywhere the wifi will reach. All I have to say is: Alexa show Barn Camera and it comes up on the screen.

It seems one should be careful with with Alexa monitoring cams, she can turn on you and upload your videos to internet.

I don’t know if you can customize your home screen like make the clock larger or a different style clock.
I would like the 7 day forecast on the home page too.
All in all a pretty cool product.
