Good question. Don't recall hearing anything after her club team suspended her contract before the deadline which made it possible for her to play with the Storm.

However, there was the concussion she suffered during play-offsm which is the second she's suffered in less than a year. Also, her summer commitments with the French National team that could be affecting her availability, per this article from late May.

For at least the initial implementation, it appears most players have prioritized the WNBA with an assist from beneficial schedules by both their domestic league and overseas ones.

I Don't expect to see Gabby in the WNBA again unless they get rid of the prioritization rule.

True, however I should have been clearer as I'm more concerned about the concussion and whether it's hampering her ability to play, regardless of team.

Gabby has played in several other countries besides France such as Italy, Spain & Hungary.
If she wants to prioritize France which is one of the only leagues that conflicts with the WNBA then that's her choice.
But it appears the rule did have the positive effect of prompting other leagues to adjust their schedules.
Didn't she claim that she tried to make it back in time but was prevented by concussion?
That indicates that she wanted to comply with the rule.

Seattle made all the right noises about being in communication with her and wanting her to sign this season, especially once it looked like she would be eligible. As the season continues in their current place in the standings, they are probably more happy to not have her waste a contract year and to figure out what to do next season. There is no reason to ask her to sign if she is still not fully healthy. If it get contentious and she wants to sign, but they want to wait until next season, she must sign an offer sheet with another team by July 1st in order to force their hand.
