That there are more than a few schools out there eager to see us wither and rot in conference purgatory?

I don't buy that we're just not that attractive as an athletic department/university. This feels more personal.

The fact that Rutgers is in the Big 10 and Uconn is about to join the "This Better Be Good Enough For the 6th BSC Bid" Conference (TBBGEF6BB for short) tells you all you need to know about whether this stuff is based on athletic achievement.
