Do players get paid for bowl games?

They typically have received a decent swag package from the bowls... There isn't any required additional compensation, but individual players may or may not have clauses in their NIL deals. That would be a way to incentivize bowl participation though...

I just don't think most modern P4 athletes want to play a bowl game against a g5 opponent "for the team"; It's "you suck" if you lose and "sposed to" if you win. Kind of the opposite of a win-win.
