Just another indicator of the potential value of our new contract. A rising tide floats all boats.

While it may be true that a rising tide lifts all boats, just remember that a wet bird never flies at night.

$170 mill is quite literally spare change for Disney. ESPN, is generating $10 BILLION a quarter for disney. 57% of the entire Disney corporation profit margin in the most recent quarter - was ESPN.

THe mouse has turned ESPN into a corporate monster. The problem the mouse will face though, is that collegiate sport, led by football and basketball, is not scripted entertainment for people. It's even much different than professional sport. Sooner or later, the way that the mouse likes to manipulate their entertainment products is going to come back and haunt them when it comes to intercollegiate athletics.

ESPN needs some healthy competition in the market. That's for sure.

I read the heading as "Domestic sports coats" and thought I'd only be buying imported from now on.

Can I have some of that Kool-Aid you have? ESPN is a huge part of Disney's profits, but not at the 57% mark, nor the $10B/q mark.
