Canceled: Disney Shuts Down ESPN Classic, ESPN 2.0

Disney is set to cancel both ESPN Classic and ESPN 2.0, according to a report from Sports Business Journal's John Ourand.

Live Sports or live content is the only thing that moves the needle these days, and Classic is by definition not live. But it's perfect for an on-demand service like a streaming network. You don't need a Disney Classic channel when you can move all that content to ESPN+.
