Dislike of dynasties?

Dan Patrick was discussing the Patriots win and how there can be an attitude against dynasties, the “anybody but them...” attitude. Since we can easily refer to UCONN as one of two dynasties in women’s bb, does that sometimes work against them in recruiting? Chrystin William said she only knew UCONN as a team to hope loses until they started recruiting her.

I think it works against UCONN not only in recruiting but post season awards as well.
Hell even Geno's own mother doesn't cut him a break:

Anybody but . . . works for my wife and I in a selection of sports. The criteria for "anybody but" isn't always that they are a dynasty (sometimes, its that they think they are, like ND football). But yes, in large part, that's the source of my personal anybody but the Patriots. Sometimes its just regional - as a Yankees fan, anybody but the Red Sox. And sometimes there is no good reason, you just don't like the team.
