And Geno has a history of finding his core five or six players, and running with them. And, in the past, that worked. UCONN had better talent and they worked harder. Those days are well gone. Many teams have young, athletic, fast, big superstars. NC State had a bunch of them. South Carolina beat Maryland 114-76. Stanford beat Indiana by 40 points. and Colorado beat LSU ( national defending champs ) in Baton Rouge. What we saw, early as it was, just doesn't appear to be enough. That is all we are saying.
