Houston's beat down of FSU should land them in the top 10. This together with UCF's 2013 Fiesta Bowl win over Baylor where UCF finished 10th, reinforces Aresco's Power 6 argument.
If three or more from the conference can end up in the final top 20 poll for consecutive years(3 minimum) then the AAC has an argument to be included. I know not all of the P-5 conferences may end up with 3 but the AAC needs to go above and beyond to grab attention. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Next season eyes will be on the conference to see if they can maintain. As long as they can keep 3 in the top 25 for a considerable amount of teh season then TV peeps will continue to mention them. With UConn's weak schedule next year they won't sniff top 25 until their 10 or 11th regular season win.
