You might be right. I just don't think that it is done deal at this time. How can we have him for 2 years if he’s a top 15 draft pick and maybe top 10?
Treat this hope like when you buy a lotto ticket. It’s not going to happen, but you can enjoy the what if.You might be right. I just don't think that it is done deal at this time.
hmm maybe but since I'm not much of an nba fan these days, it isn't hard for me to think that McNeeley might want and actually need one more year. I love the kid and his game but someone tried to make a Bird comparison here which I think is ridiculous. Also someone here said that they felt Liam was a better player and fit for us than Flagg - equally ridiculous. 2 great kids but Flagg can do things that most just dream about. It likely will come down to what the nba scouts want and have an actual need for. Once again, I love this kid's game and his approach to it, but it wouldn't surprise me if we had him for a couple of years.Treat this hope like when you buy a lotto ticket. You are utterly delusional. Flagg is the better overall player - with absolutely fantastic D. But, I said Liam was a better offensive player - and I stand by that. The Flagg is a bit turnover prone, and not particularly efficient on O. His game will benefit from NBA spacing, but, right now, Liam is better offensively.hmm maybe but since I'm not much of an nba fan these days, it isn't hard for me to think that McNeeley might want and actually need one more year. Fans gotta stop thinking about who leaves at the end of a season anyways and just focus on the season. And so it begins…. Enjoy McNeeley now. He’s gone at the end of the season.
Lamb is always the guy underestimated or overlooked.Someone in the game thread mentioned the possibility of Liam becoming the top freshman scorer and someone ask who had the freshman record. Here is what I looked up
Agree and that is why he wasn't set up by Dan Hurley to do that. Danny just pointed him against the best offensive player on the other team and said shut him down. We could have a separate thread on Castle shutdowns. My favorite might be Ilinois highly touted Terrance Shannon who was held to 2 of 12. This was the game with the 30-0 run.No way, he simply isn't a good enough shooter to be an easy 20 point guy.
Gue$$ it might be a lottery.Exactly.
He’s bigger than people think and he’s not afraid to play bully ball in the paint against smaller defendersI know he was advertised as a deadly sharpshooter, but I've been impressed how he's been able to create his own shot and drive it into the hole and finish. And also his ability to draw fouls. He's also been a lot better on the defensive end than I thought he would be at this stage.
