Did Brenda Just Thumb Her Nose Geno's Way

No, when she talks about facing UConn next year, she's have similar words about playing the best.

Looks like she received the message from the tournament committee.

I doubt it, her game plan is to schedule one or two high profile games. Then the poll voters will not notice the 15 cupcakes they play.

well they will probably play a ranked ACC team in the ACC/Big 10..... so thats 3 ranked non-conference opponents

This is a step in the right direction. Still think she should schedule at least one BIG12 team (Baylor/Texas/OU) to help. Maybe a PAC12 team as well.

She is at least listening to committee and moving in right direction.

Next year her team is inexperienced, she should have done it with her teams when they were contenders.. I guess doing it now will have them ready in a year or two to be near the top again.

Its not easy to schedule top 25 teams on a Home and Home........Good for MD.

She didn't thumb her nose Geno's way , but made a smart move I think. Who would you rather play , a depleted Gamecocks team or a fully reloaded Husky team over the next 2 years?

she can do what she thinks is best for her program... that is fine.... I really don't put any stock in it... we are unaffected

So will it be Maryland Eastern Shores or Maryland Baltimore County that gets dropped?
Or could be UMass-Lowell (2-26 last season) or Saint Peter's (3-27). Those were the RPI killers right there (343 and 326, respectively).

No. Brenda Frese know that she has to schedule more than UConn to get a higher seed next year. Brenda Frese said UConn was the best also, so that"s why she scheduled the home-to-home games. Will Brenda and Geno be best friends, no, but she knows that Geno and staff are the best Coaches in the land.

I guess I'm just one of the #$%@#! head line writers. Thought she had dropped UC in favor of SC ... every April right around this time I get a little crazy.

I totally agree---each coach that pumps up her fans or her team or just puts out good words for them is doing her/his job. I'm not great Brenda fan--and unless she uses some thing other than her thumb--I won't be her detractor--I was impressed with her kids taking the tough courses.
