His response to a diminishing role was to come in and completely flip the game on its head. Him and Alleyne have the ability to impact the game when they’re feeling it, and they’re probably our 8th/9th most important players. We might not win without him tonight.

Primo was hot all night until Diarra came in and guarded him

As a youngin' we had an expression that went something like "he thought he was hot schitt but was only cold diaharrhea". Diarra was the cooler tonight.

Diarra and Alleyne have played solid aggressive defense all year. Underrated in their bench production on that end of the floor. With Clingan they provide amazing defense from the bench. Joey has also been solid.

That was the move of night by Danny bringing Hass in. Newton is great at controlling the game and calming things down but Hass brings an infectious energy. Hass is going to play a very important role for this team. And he’s only going to get better!

Having fresh legs at the end of the game is going to come in clutch this year. You could see the Georgetown players absolutely gassed at the end of the game -- even Brando and Raff made note of it. Very few teams will be able to match our depth this year, and it's going to pay off in crunchtime.

UConn starts second half 0-8 from 3 and gets down by 5.

Raff and Brando talk about maybe stress of the high ranking was getting to UConn and their legs looked weak.

Hurley brings in Diarra and Joey C.

Tired legs and shooting problem solved.

I'm reminded of way back when when Lyman De Priest came in and had a big game to help win after not playing too much in the previous couple of games. After he said "I knew coach would get back to me."

When we go to the bench it's over. We have so many possible lineups it's ridiculous.

One of the refs yelled at Diarra to put his arms down after they called a foul on him around the 3:20 mark in the second half

I thought Newton had his best game in weeks.

Diarra is looking like a Big East gaurd. That's a real nice surprise.
