Will be on with Jack Arute.
Arute was dogging UConn about the Civil Conflict thing the other day
Diaco on in 3 min.

You can't be serious. He's going to be on Sirius?

Typical Diaco speak - selling UConn well for those that don't hear that much from him.

His biggest mistake was he said "Brad Jones" instead of "Byron".

He did say at the end that his number one priority was winning games and focusing on how to win them.

I listen to that channel a lot during the day(in sales) so I was surprised to hear Arute give UConn some props after the interview was over. I know he is from CT but rarely does he talk about UConn and when he does it is usually with the inference of us being small time. I get the sense that he liked Coach P and did not like what happened to him. Just my impression.

Anyway,he talked about how great the facilities are and was complimentary of the campus.

I heard him. He sounded like a bucket full of energy.

They asked him about $$$ games and Diaco seemed a bit put off and said that his focus was winning games.

Is there a thread for Diaco NOT being serious...Sirius?

:-)

Yes, diaco was mentioning our schedule this year going to mizzou and going to BYU. The cohost, Brad whoever, I guess interpreted those as money games. I don't think we've played a money game other than Notre dame since we've been in the big east/AAC , right? All have been home and homes.

Diaco should have set him straight, but I like that he ended with a strong focus on his job was to win games.

anyone have a link for this interview for those that missed it?

Just mutter some "Rah-Rah coach speak" and you most likely missed nothing.
