Graham seems like a great kid with a lot of talent and he certainly got to see big time football first hand. I get what he is saying about supporting a program through tough times but......

It's easy to be a Florida and USC fan and win NC's and have multiple 10 win seasons. PP and company would be burned at the stake if he did what he's done so far here, at those institutions.

I hope the players know we are not down on them but want the coaching staff that gives them the best chance to win.

I have to say I am impressed with the class coming in and a 7-5 season would be enough to say give him one more season. With a promising new OC and some playmakers in this class...who knows.

But if we don't go bowling this year he needs to go.

We will go to a bowl game this year, bank it. I also predict that coach p saved his as$ with a couple of nice coaching hires and a solid recruiting class. If it translates to wins on the field, I'll forgive him. i'm still worried about clock management, but hopefully deleone will buy coach p a watch this year.

When you're winning by multiple scores clock management isn't so important. ;)

At least that's the positive spin I'm going with....

I'm going to try not focusing on the record in 2013, especially with the a new offensive coordinator. I want to have fun watching UConn football again. Yes record does play a part in that, but first and foremost I want to see an up-tempo dynamic offense. I want to see a stingy defense. I want to see halftime adjustments as well as those on the fly. I think we've all had enough of Lyle McCombs getting Sanchized by his offensive line. Do the little things and wins take care of themselves.

We have to replace two starting LBs from last season and in Sio an NFL caliber talent. My hope is that Graham is of the ilk of a Sio, Lutrus or Wilson. If he is, then we should be in good shape with Yawin back and what looks like a promising group of young backers in the wings. It's traditionally been a position of stregnth for this young program.
