Chev, my man! Someone had just posted they hadn't seen you around lately. Thanks for this.
Also, was wondering if this means lamb is gone. Or is another shooting guard a priority?

Who was the guy who saw him play a high school game and said we should recruit him? It was like two months ago they really really liked him. I cant tell too much from the video.

Well Da'von has the right last name to succeed at UConn.

I live in Winter Haven, saw him play twice and posted we should recruit him a few weeks ago. So happy to read we are looking at him. I don't follow recruiting very closely but do have alot of experience coaching at the HS-AAU level and in my opinion he's good enough to start in the big east. He has a real good feel for playing D on the perimeter. Lets go lock him up. Hopefully the family of Tiffany Hayes can give Uconn a good recomendation.

Guards are nice, but our next two spots need to go to bigs. We already have Napier, Boatright, Giffey, and Omar Calhoun in the backcourt, with Roscoe Smith and Daniels playing the 3/4.

They don't have a big guard though, walker is like 6'6 and has the reputation as a good perimeter defender.

We've needed a big physical guard who can defend the perimeter for a long time. Yeah, I know we won the NC two years ago w/ a small backcourt, but they made up for it with Kemba Walker's offense, leadership and toughness. This Walker might be a good get if the can land him, one who can fill one of this team's needs.

next year (asume-jl/ad/ao are gone)
1-omar 6'4 sg(fr)
2-boat 5'10 pg(so)
3-dd 6'8 sf(sf)
4-bazz 6'0 pg(jr)
5-scoe 6'8 sf/pf(jr)
6-gif 6'5 sg/sf(jr)
7-brad 6'10 pf/c(so bball wise)
8-wolf 7'0 c(jr)
9-olander 6'10 pf(jr)
10-needs to be a center, its clear we have been after several for a while now. a top 100 recruit would be huge but we need a center of any sort as our next commit for sure.
11-apr or we get this ship back for good improvement. if this spot does open up which it was supose to(see ark rulling 2 years ago) then i can see a 2nd big man recruit or a sg recruit. these 2 spots would make the most sense to fill if this slot is open. we saw what 3 pure guards looked like this year, 4 guards is big difference than 3 when it comes down to it...
12-apr, last year of this punishment
13-ncaa, last year of this punishment

-if any one of #'s 2-9 leave for any reason(transfer or w/e) then we need to fill that spot with a player of the same position.
-all 3 of our 13/14/15 classes have the potential to be big based on when players will be in and out of program if they stay on track or leave early for nba or other reasons. the apr/ncaa will be behind us, we will have a pf built and our coaching situation will be alot more clear by then with what our future of the staff looks like.
