Has anyone seen DePaul a lot?
I saw them for 10 minutes or so earlier in the year. Anna Martin has really picked it up this year while averaging close to 20 points per game.
I do know that they are ranked #21; they beat St. John's by 23, and Georgetown by 9.
However, they have lost by 23 to Tenn, lost to Providence, and to SF in overtime. In addition, they only beat Pitt by 3!
Senior Keisha Hampton, who was averaging 16 points a game had knee surgery and is out for the rest of the year. I also read that 2 freshmen are out with injuries for the year.
Taylor Pikes, last year's "Best 6th Man in the BE" has not played in a game yet this year. I think they only have 9 players on the roster.
I guess the biggest advantage they will have is their home court. They did have a winning streak of several games on their home court(I think it is still intact), and we know they are always tough there.
It could be interesting--I would not say this if the game was a home game for Uconn, though.
