DePaul Vs. DaHall | The Boneyard

DePaul Vs. DaHall

At the half, Lavin gave his all big east 1st team and no Bouk. He said if he played in a full slate of games he could of been player of the year.

My question is Bouk not eligible officially for 1st team?

I don’t know. That would be very weird, I think that he just means that many people don’t think bouk has enough of a sample size versus the likes of Robinson-Earl or Champagne.

I’m very confident for our next matchup v Seton Hall. Not only did we keep it close without Bouk, Seton Hall hasn’t shot nearly as good the past 2 games than they did against us. Happens, but we need that one.

I'm much more worried about facing St Johns
I was ridiculed here in November when I told everyone that St Johns was going to be very tough to play
I called it
Thank you

Props to you @gtcam. If you called it back then, mad props. They are good for sure.

don't kid urself, it's not st johns playing so much better, it's everyone else in college bball coming down to the usual st johns level. lol.

This DePaul team looks extremely undisciplined. It’s amazing they are in this game.

If only you remembered your own advice 2 weeks ago, are they a tough game or a bad loss that never should have happened?
UConn should never have lost to St Johns at home
It's a bad loss no matter who plays who and who beats who in the NBE
Can't afford those kinds of results

What is up with this DePaul offense? They haven’t run a single play, it’s like they’re trying to take bad shots, players have accidentally run into each other a number of times. This is so ugly.

We knew that when we played them. They are raw but talented and with the #26 recruiting class coming in they will be good soon. Leito is a good coach.

Depaul scores 8 points in the last 13 minutes (4 points in the last 8 minutes) with 6 turnovers.

I'm having flashbacks of Kevin Freeman in 99. The slight (real or perceived) should work in our favor.

How did we lose to da Hall? They looked terrible outside of Mamu. We must win the rematch.

Should be a pretty comfortable win with bouk back. We were in it without him, he will push us over the top

Good one.

I think of Tyler Hansbrough and Jimmer Fredette, with looks toward Jameer Nelson, Elton Brand, and Doug McDermott though blue-colored glasses. McDermott's more of a glance, but Shabazz has him beat 2-0 where it counts most (tied WI Ty and Giffey) .
