1. First minute or so a little sloppy by both teams. Next 4, DePaul wondering what hit them.
2. Sanogo sure can cover a lot of ground without getting called for traveling. He knows how to use a pivot foot.
3. 26-2 over the first 8 minutes.
4. Our rebounding advantage at the 8 minute mark -- 16-8.
5. Was that the first time Clingan had a shot blocked cleanly? Credit to Ongenda.
6. I think that JoeyC and Clingan have some kind of telepathy deal going on between them. Don't know how many dimes Joey has put up this year, but I'd wager that half of them have been to Clingan.
7. Johnson in with 4 minutes left in the half. No Springs yet.
8. Halftime... 57 to 23% FG, including 46% to zip 3 pt percentage. 17 dimes to 2, and 25 to 16 on the boards.
9. Ajax having himself a heck of a half going 100% from the floor with 8 points, 7 assists and 5 boards.
10. Newton not too shabby either, with 8, 5 & 3.
11. I will be disappointed if we let them outscore us in the second half. Looking for 2 dominant halves for once.
12. We got more points (21) out of our center position than DePaul got out of their team (19) in the first half.
13. Springs in at 1:50!
14. Karaban has blown 3 freebie layups tonight.
15. Dammit, we lost the second half. Actually, we were up by 32 points with 6 minutes left in the first half. So they actually outscored us by 3 points in over the last 26 minutes.
16. JoeyC made 3 big threes. He also had three dimes and three steals. But the steals were kind of a wash, as he had 3 turnovers, too. Pretty much everything was coming up three for Joey tonight.
17. All in all, a good win. One more in the regular season would be nice.
