I know we play DePaul at least 2x this year (or so the schedule says), but here's my favorite DePaul game. We started out the game up by 37-3. Really!




I know we came up short against Mississippi State, but that lineup of Pheesa, Gabby, Kia, Lou, and Saniya was really good.

I have watched that game probably 10 times and I do it whenever I need a great UConn fix. My favorite part is in the beginning where Geno does his thing and they ask if the team will get to eat their humble pie. Classic!

The game I watch when I need a fix from that core group is the 2018 game @ South Carolina. Wow, that was a clinic.

Friday I watched the AAC Conference Tournament game against USF where Lou went 10 for 10 from behind the arc. One of my Top 5 replays, probably #2.

The other game that I watch just to get a huge smile is the Saint Francis (PA) game in the first round of the 2018 Big Dance.

A few years ago in an early round NCAA game (a/k/a slaughter) one of the commentators remarked that the facial expressions of several of the other team were expressions of disbelief that the Huskies continued at their relentless pace. Geno has at times recognized the picture may not look pretty, but the Huskies want to play just one way until the final buzzer of the season.

Number 19 DePaul almost upset the 13th ranked Aggies 93-91. They're a well-coached team.

That game against MSU the wrong person took the last shot in Saniya she was to anxious to be the hero. But that game was one of the best games I seen her play besides the one against Maryland

I think this was one of Coach Auriemma's biggest mistakes as a coach, the ball NEVER should have been in Chong's hands in that situation when you had Nurse on the floor. Even if she had an uncontested layup with nobody within 50 feet of her, you have to play for the last shot NO MATTER WHAT!
