...an interesting trip to Storrs given the weekend weather forecast.

If Storrs gets the 2 feet of snow they are forecasting I dont think there is any chance that they play the game on Saturday. I was wondering does anyone know what Hotel the visiting teams that have to fly in stay at? Somewhere in Hartford I am assuming.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, though that may not make a difference.

This is where a charter can make a big difference. Even if the weather clears during the day Sat, the commercial planes will be all messed up and out of position.

There's nothing a school in Connecticut could teach a school from Chicago about snow.
Good point.

Maybe they can get in later Saturday after the storm winds down. Gonna be tough on them though.

Rumor has it Doug has arranged special transport from the airport to Storrs...

ND is playing at Seton Hall on Sat. They were supposed to fly out tomorrow but I've now read they decided to travel this afternoon/evening to beat the storm. Hope DePaul is making similar plans... At least Doug could have a couple of dinners with Geno.

Yep. The Nathan Hale Inn.
There's a Nathan Hale tourist spot of some type just before you hit Route 44, coming off Interstate 384. Any 'Yarders ever visited it? Is it worth the trouble?
