Loyola (9-0) is off to its best start since 1988-89 and emerged unscathed from a stretch of four consecutive road games and five out of six. The Ramblers did have some close calls including a 72-67 double-overtime win at Kansas City and a 78-64 overtime success at Portland.

A Loyola team led by Allison Day (14.3 points a game) and Abby O'Connor (14.3 points, 8.1 rebounds) will encounter a DePaul attack that leads the nation in assists and scoring (nearly 89 points a game) and is second in three-pointers, three-point attempts and threes per game.

I watched most of the 3rd quarter, and I have to say Loyola Chicago is a pretty good team. I can see why they haven't lost yet. They're not committing too many turnovers and not giving DePaul easy looks. This is anyone's game.

I’m guessing like UT Martin last night, the moment will be too big for Loyola to pull out the win. I hope they can do it though.

Another undefeated team bites the dust. Only 10 left: #2 UConn, 2 ACC Teams (#8 FSU & #9 NC State), 2 Big 12 teams (unranked teams-Kansas & Texas Tech), and 5 Pac 12 Teams (#1 Stanford, #4 OSU, #10 UCLA, #18 Arizona, & unranked Colorado. No other conference has any more undefeated teams.
