I think with her the main potential recruiting advantage is the IMG connection, with Kellis and Lara if they all wanted to come together here. that may not be a factor, but if the rapport is good between the three of them, it could certainly help.

Overtime Select Game Stats: - 19 points - 7 rebounds - 1 block - 1 steal - 3 made 3-pointers - 0 turnovers

Deniya Prawl's performance in the Overtime Select game was a masterclass in using physical attributes to dominate on the basketball court. Her unique combination of size (6'1"), speed, and strength allowed her to impact the game in multiple ways, establishing her as an elite scorer and versatile defender.

What sets Deniya apart is her ability to leverage her physicality in every aspect of her game. As a slasher, she uses her strength to overpower defenders on drives to the basket, finishing through contact with ease. This downhill attacking style puts immense pressure on defenses and often results in high-percentage shots or trips to the free-throw line.

Her rebounding prowess (7 rebounds) is a testament to her toughness and willingness to battle in the paint. Despite playing as a guard/wing, Deniya's ability to secure rebounds against larger opponents showcases her strength and positioning skills.

Defensively, Deniya's physical tools shine just as brightly. Her ability to protect the rim (1 block) while also having the quickness to switch onto smaller players makes her a defensive coordinator's dream. This versatility allows her team to employ various defensive strategies without substituting.

What makes Deniya's performance particularly impressive is her efficiency. Scoring 19 points with 3 made three-pointers and zero turnovers demonstrates a player who can dominate physically without sacrificing control or decision-making.

In the context of the Overtime Select League, known for showcasing elite talent, Deniya's physical dominance stands out. Her ability to impose her will on both ends of the court against top-tier competition suggests she has the potential to be a game-changing player at higher levels.

Looking ahead, Deniya Prawl's combination of size, speed, and strength, coupled with her skill set, makes her an intriguing prospect for top collegiate programs.

For fans and analysts watching the Overtime Select League, Deniya's performance serves as a prime example of how physical dominance, when paired with skill and basketball IQ, can elevate a player to elite status.

I turned on the game to watch Fisher and Vukosa. These HS all-star games are notoriously guard-dominant and Vukosa rarely touched the ball. Fisher also looked good but I really liked Prawl. She looked very comfortable and efficient. 6'1 and a guard? Give me a second helping of that.

I know this was posted in the Agot Makeer thread, but it should also be noted here as Prawl is also on the list.

Olivia Vukosa was the "defensive player" of the U 17 FIBA women's tournament. I found it
interesting that the list started at # 6!! The "Big O" was also the the second team ALL TOURNAMENT.
Go OLIVIA!

You have to go to the image to get the full list. Vukosa was listed #2 overall per the attachment but that could be discussed in her thread ;)

"Recently, the 6-1 wing from Ontario Canada announced her top-8 suitors, consisting of Kentucky, Louisville, Notre Dame, Baylor, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina and Connecticut. Then, during a conversation at Under Armour Elite 24, Prawl revealed to 247Sports that she has planned upcoming official visits to 6 of those 8 schools — Kentucky, Baylor, Louisville, Notre Dame, Florida and Tennessee."

No visits to UConn or SCar planned at this point.

Interesting. The unlimited official visits now is wild to me, but if it helps her better determine the right fit so be it.

There are Canadian connections at Louisville (Merrisah Russell) and Notre Dame (Cassandre Prosper, who she has played with). Will have to monitor the situation with South Carolina and UConn.

My reading of the posts is that it's down to Notre Dame, Kentucky, and UCONN.
Just a hunch. I tend to be biased to Canadian players ( WHY NOT!! ). Those
videos and photos seem to be a strong indicator that the competition is U of
Kentucky. Does UCONN's extra 2025 slot go to a Power Forward (LARA SOMFAI.)
a shooting guard (Agot Makeer), or Deniya Prawl? Is Blanca Quinones the
wild card here? (...A COMBO = GUARD??) ... I still think that Blanca is 6 '0' (FIBA web
page) despite the reference to her being 6'3".
NOTE: THESE FINAL FEW ARE ALL INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS!!

I don't think she's interested. her spot is likely Makeer's. She doesn't follow our coaches, and they don't follow her either. Makeer and Somfai seems incredibly leaned towards us. Makeer is the wing player we need to complete our 2025 class anyways. Fisher for a defensive athletic PG, Gandy is a strong rebounding center, Somfai is a versatile PF should we land her, and Makeer would be the elite wing player.
