A few times this year Hurley has played Smith and Demary together. I don’t have the stats but my recollection is it has worked well when they have done it. Smith has been a good three point shooter so he can play off the ball as well as be the PG.
Seems like that configuration would help with press too. Wondering what other people think of that lineup.

Malachi and Silas are both good 3 pt shooters I wish they took more

When just one of them in, there is tremendous responsibility and pressure. But when they both are in and rotate that responsibility it seems like both of them get more comfortable and thrive.

Smith is the best 3P shooter for the team on the season. He should get some time at the SG

Smith is very inconsistent player. Let's see if he can play smart going forward and not turn the ball over and run the offense well. He has some games were he just dribbles too much, gets lost amongst the tress going to the rim and makes some dumb turnovers. The one thing I do like whenever he is in the game is the ball pressure he provides. One of Ross's steals was because of the great on the ball pressure he was providing that the guy didn't get a great angle on the pass. Smith is not a SG by any stretch of the imagination. He can make wide open 3s but lets not start calling him a SG. You know PG's can shoot 3s at a good clip too. I see more of like the old UConn teams were we had two great ball handlers in together.

Very low attempt rate for Smith. He basically only takes wide open threes. Not complaining at all there as UConn's offense does get players open shots but he is not the best 3P shooter this year.

Smith looks better shooting 3s than dribbling into oblivion
